Barbara Anne (Creamer) Botnen

Barbara Anne (Creamer) Botnen passed away unexpectedly on February 24, 2022 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tacoma. She was born February 15, 1934 to Jack and Mildred (Babcock) Creamer in Bellingham, Washington. She was a descendent of Washington pioneer Harry DeVere Babcock.
She married Herman Botnen (a Fox Island native born to Hans and Minnie Botnen) on April 5, 1959 and they made their home on Fox Island. She was a long time member of the Sans Souci club on Fox Island and had many friends there.
She is survived by her niece Loreli Barks, Tacoma, and numerous nieces and nephews; cousins Marjorie Clarkson, Gilbert AZ, Rudy Bachelor, Chisago City MN, and Jim Flynn, Olympia. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

A memorial for Barbara will be held on May 1, 2022, at the Fox Island Museum at 2PM.
