Chelly Kona Obituary (1962

Chelly was born Jan 30, 1962 and passed away quietly at her Arizona home with her family by her side on Oct 29, 2012. Her strength and courage was an inspiration to us all during her battle with cancer. Chelly grew up in Everett and lived most of her life in Lake Stevens. Chelly lived for her family and welcomed all people who came into her life. She loved gardening, boating, and traveling, both in the US and abroad. She lived to create a happy home for her family. We will all miss her deeply and cherish our time we spent with her. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Darrell Moore; two children Bailey and McKenzi; her father Zeek Kona and stepmother Bobbi; brother Grump Kona; loyal dog Gracie; and many other family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held 5:00pm, Nov 8, 2012 at the Mansion Inn at Lake Stevens, 1513 Mitchell Dr, Lake Stevens 98258. Remembrances may be made to Providence Cancer Care on their website.
