Evelyn Powers

Evelyn P. Powers Evelyn P. Powers, a Port Orchard resident since 1967, passed away Feb. 3, 2011. She was an active volunteer at the Burley Senior Center and she loved to dance. She was the last of 9 children. Evelyn is survived by daughter Elaine Wheatley, son John Powers, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. A viewing will be held at Haven of Rest Funeral Home, 8503 Hwy 16 W, Gig Harbor, on Wed. Feb. 9, 2011 at 12 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. and then a reception at the Burley Senior Center. Online condolences may be made at www.havenrest.com.
