Glora Armstrong Obituary (1930

Glora JoAnn Armstrong (Souders), 84, A Gig Harbor,Wa resident since 2007, died on Jan 9, 2015. Glora was born on November 28, 1930 in Whitley County Indiana. She is laid to rest next to her husband of 54 years, Russell Armstrong. Glora graduated from Larwill High School in 1948 and later from International Business College. She retired from Holland Motor Trucking Company in 1992. She belonged to Kappa Phi Delta Sorority as well as bridge and sewing clubs. She enjoyed Bible study, watching Indiana basketball, spending time with family and friends, as well as babysitting her great granddaughter Madison Snell. She was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne, IN and recently attended Grace Presbyterian Church in Gig Harbor. Preceded in death by son Brian, Glora is survived by her 2 children Amy Snell and Craig Armstrong, and grandchildren Andrew Snell, Allison Snell, Taryn Snell, Trevin Snell, and Eli Armstrong. She is also survived by her younger sister, Marilyn Cobb, who resides in Fort Wayne Indiana.
