Jack Cosper

Jack Rion Cosper Jack Cosper, devoted husband and loving father went to be with the Lord at his home on Monday August 9, 2010. He was 64 years old. He was born in Seattle, Washington on April 9th, 1946 to John Henry Cosper, Jr. and Virginia Winburne Cosper. His spirit lives on in his family; his wife Ingerlise Cosper, his mother Virginia, two sons, Chad Cosper (Lucy) of Portland, OR and Matt Cosper of Charlotte, NC, and 4 step children, Sonja Biesold (Jeff), Kristi Nelson (Anthony), Knut Knutsen (Cymmie), and David Knutsen (Beth). He is also survived by 9 adoring grandchildren: Nicole, Giulia, and Sofia Biesold, Thea, Ava, and Grace Nelson, Siljia, Jens, and Jonas Knutsen, and has 3 siblings, Karen Evangelista, Bill Cosper, and Kelly Copeland. Jack was anxiously awaiting the arrival of his tenth grandchild. Other than family Jack's passion was flying, and he spent his career as a pilot. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed golfing, hiking, camping and skiing with family and friends. He possessed a solid faith in the Lord and loved his church. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and the laughter with which he filled his loved one's lives will be dearly missed. A Husband, a Father, a Grandfather and Friend: Jack Cosper was a source of adventure and light in many lives. A memorial service will be held at the Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church Memorial Chapel in Gig Harbor, WA on Saturday August 21st at 3:00 p.m. with a reception following.
