Karen Lee Coverdale

Karen L. Coverdale, a Gig Harbor resident since 2014, died May 25, 2024. Karen was a retired Medical Bookkeeper and avid gardener. She created beautiful bonsai which family and friends will always treasure. Karen lived and worked in Portland OR until her retirement.
Family members include her daughter and son in law Alex Van Putten and Nic Van Putten. Grandsons Miles and David of the Netherlands. Brother Douglas Coverdale of Portland and nieces Kristina and Aaliyah, and nephew Jake. Karen's sister Peggy Gardiner and neices Shelly and Erika, Sage, Finnely and nephews Adian, Blake, and Ashton.
Haven of Rest in Gig Harbor made the arrangements. Karen has a leaf on a stone in her memory. She shares the stone with her brother in law Mike and parents Bing and Bette Coverdale as well as George and Margaret Gardiner.
