Linda Ann Purtle, born on November 13, 1943, in Alhambra, California, lived an extraordinary life filled with love, courage, and a spirit of adventure. Her heart embodied a compassionate spirit that extended to everyone around her. Linda was a beacon of resilience, navigating through life's storms with grace and an unyielding spirit that never ceased to inspire those who were fortunate to know her.
Linda enjoyed a career as a Special Events Coordinator. Her courage, resilience, and fierce love for her family were the compass that guided her, even through the most challenging times. It was these qualities that made Linda the pillar of strength for her loved ones, as she cared for and protected her children through years of struggle and change.
Linda Purtle is survived by her son, John Purtle (Heather), her son Adam Takesce Doong (Nicholas), her daughter Heather Purtle (Kris), her beloved granddaughters, Allison (Justin), Molly (Greg), and Abby (Gerardo), her great-grandchildren Soren and Liliana, and amazing family member Sheila Peach. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Muriel Motzl and loving husband Neal Purtle. Linda's legacy is not marked by the number of years she lived, but by the countless hearts she touched, and the indelible memories she created. As we remember Linda, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a heart so generously given.
In lieu of flowers, Linda would love for you to make a gift to your favorite local animal shelter in her honor.
